BIOGRAPHY

John is an enthusiastic artist based in the inner west of Sydney. He takes inspiration from his upbringing in Griffith, New South Wales and his later connection to the Blue Mountains for his works, incorporating a sense of nostalgia and warmth into each painting while celebrating the mundane happenings of Australian life. John's celebration of nature has evolved with his mediums, showcasing his journey as an artist - from acrylic exploratory paintings full of colour and vibrancy to intricate monochrome landscapes delicately done with oil and soft pastels.

John continues his artistic learning by taking classes to refine his own skills and explore other mediums. He is currently a member of the Parramatta Art Society and won second place in their 2022 Art Award Exhibition.
